Wednesday evenings are always without reservations and if you come late you perfectly know in advance that there will be some waiting time until a table gets free. It was nice weather and you were offered a glass of Prosecco outside.
Everything seemed to be ok until the drama started when you asked for a cappuccino at the end of your dinner. We like to joke and smile with our customers about the culinary habits of Italians and the stereotypes around them, like cutting tagliatelle or spaghetti with a knife, adding massive Parmigiano on pasta with sea fruits, and among others…yes, cappuccino after dinner!
You reacted like if you had suffered the greatest insult in your life. You did not touch the cappuccino (and did not pay for it) so writing it was not good is just a lie. No way to make you understand that all this was just a misunderstanding.
It was the first time someone reacted in this way in six years of opening. We are just sorry you totally missed the friendly and unformal spirit of our osteria, but we will get over it.
