This hotel is not up to Marriott Brand standards. This is a new hotel; however they should have worked out the kinks before they opened. They had plenty of opportunities since it opened during COVID-19. The front desk staff lacks customer service skills. They frequently contradicted themselves. There wasn’t a coffee machine in the room and they only offered coffee between 5:30am to 10:30am which wasn’t COVID-19 friendly since many touched the carafes of coffee. One staffer said no coffee in the room because of COVID-19 but another staffer said it was because everything was on back order. Which is it? The front desk staff didn’t offer many recommendations for the area, when asked. We had problems with the heating/cooling system which was only resolved by moving to a different room at 11:00pm. This hotel is also located in an area with a lot of homeless near the parking lot.…
We stayed here for Thanksgiving break for two nights. This is a new and beautiful hotel in downtown. We were able to walk everywhere from here. Since they don’t have a parking lot, we had to park at a public parking behind the hotel, but it costed only $6.75 per day only on weekdays. They did not have a housekeeping service, though we only stayed two nights. You will have to ask coffee at the front desk since there is none in the room, there is a coffee maker in the room. No bathtub, but nice shower. We will stay here again next Thanksgiving.
This hotel has been open one month. 5 stories tall it is right off hwy 101. Walk to dining or under the freeway to the mall. Room was beautiful. Nice queen beds, walk in ceramic shower, frig and small safe in room. Lobby has a bar with a small but ample menu. Happy hour drinks and apps. Staff very friendly. The only reason not to stay here is if you are a light sleeper as the hwy noise was noticeable. We were east coasters so 4am wake and could not get back to sleep for the noise. Our room overlooked the highway so perhaps a solution would be to ask for the other side of the hotel.
While this brand new hotel is right around the corner from several really good restaurants, we opened our curtains and the highway seemed about 50 feet from our window. If you’re a light sleeper, beware. Bring a noise machine or the road noise will keep you up all night.
Super clean with nice lobby bar. Good location with restaurants around the corner. Room was a little small but comfortable. After 6pm overnight parking on street is free, parking in back city lot is not recommended. Service was super friendly and genuine. I travel through Santa Rosa a lot and this is my new go to hotel.
