we have children youngest age 7. some of the reviews have said that the museum is not suitable for children. is that correct? are there more suitable museums for children instead nearby?
also in this museum some reviews mentioned trenches. are these actual mock trenches that you can walk in?

There some parts of the museum that a 7 year old may find upsetting especially if they read the descriptions of articles. The nearby trenches are fine to walk round. The ones we walked were renovated trenches from WW2. We don’t know of any other museums more suitable for children.
