This refers to the eight bridges that cross over the Merced Bridges and other feeder creeks in the Yosemite Valley. Constructed between 1921 and 1933, the bridges are concrete arch bridges with stone cladding and can be described as National Park Rustic style.
You'll find the bridges on maps of the Yosemite Valley or just look out for them as you drive and walk through the valley along the Merced River. They are beautifully set amongst the trees and riverside environs and easy to enjoy. The Yosemite bridges were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

I ponti del parco, oltre alla loro conformazione ed al materiale (pietra), sono i punti da cui spesso si vedono dei panorami e paesaggi molto belli, sia per il passaggio dei fiumi (soprattutto il Merced) che per il contesto che spesso li circonda. Ne abbiamo incontrati e visti diversi, anche se non tutti, e tra quelli dove conviene soffermarsi certamente c’è quello nei pressi di Happy Isle.
