Jay is an absolutely fantastic magician and showman. The small theater makes for an intimate and wonderful experience. We have been four times and I’m sure we will go back again!

This was so much fun. My husband and I went and loved the show. It’s also great for families and parties. Relaxing, entertaining, very creative. We were constant surprised. Jay is a true showman.

My husband and I went last Saturday night. From the moment we walked in, we were well taken care of. Jay was personal, funny and absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this evening!!

I took my husband on a surprise date here and there couldn’t have been a better activity! Jay Alexander has an amazing energy: he’s so positive, and funny, and an amazing showman. Don’t skip the hour-long cocktail hour before the show! Jay personally greeted and sat us. In between seatings, he came around to do up close and amazing tricks that blew my mind. The show itself is fantastic—-it’s in an intimate theatre and Jay does an amazing job of keeping the show light and fun. My husband and I left amazed and delightfully baffled. And for those of you who don’t like to be put on the spot—don’t worry!—he makes you feel SO comfortable with the atmosphere of fun. No one gets embarrassed! DON’T MISS OUT!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOW!

A fantastic show. Jay’s magic is unbelievable. How does he do it? Arrive early when the doors open, get dinner and drinks, and witness the close up magic before the stage show! Best show in town.

So much fun! Small intimate venue, very entertaining and surprising tricks… brought my 8yr old and we all loved it! Cool small theater, highly recommended!

It was a bit last minute but my wife and I wanted to attend a show during our recent trip to SF and with Jay's show popping up and seeming unique we decided to check it out.. We're so happy we did.
We've been to comedy shows and magic shows. We've seen big theaters and small performance spaces. But this show was different than all of them.
In a small/almost hidden doorway we were greeted by Jay and lead into a lounge to join some of the other attendees for some laughs, demonstrations, and drinks.
When the show started it was evident that Jay Alexander really enjoyed performing and doing so in such an intimate space that he could engage with everyone. He kept things real and ignored a lot of the smoke and mirrors that would otherwise be associated with similar acts but what really sealed the experience was his attitude towards all of us.
The end of the show wasn't met with a pitch to buy souvenirs or to sign up for a mailing list. It was met with appreciation and a way to continue experiencing and remembering the show as well as more Jay just hanging out, talking and thanking us for attending.
You don't find that often these days - at least not in my experience. I would highly encourage anyone looking for a unique evening to check out Jay Alexander and to continue supporting artists and performers like him!

I am long time resident of San Francisco. I was surprised and thrilled to discover this gem of a show. The lovely, intimate theater setting it was conducted was wonderful. We were captivated by the unbelievable tricks. Jay is absolutely amazing at his craft - he is passionate about why he does what he does. Go see this NOW! You will have a fabulous evening!!

It would not be possible to overstate how much I enjoyed this show. I can't even remember the last time I saw a magic show. I assumed I liked magic and assumed this show would be entertaining. BUT THIS SHOW WAS INSANE!!!!!!
If you are seeking to have your sense of wonder stretched into the beyond, to be overtaken by absolute amazement and mirth, to have your mind completely blown again and again, and to have a plain old fashioned incredible evening out - then this is the show for you.
We loved it and are perpetually planning who to take next time. For we will go back. Please please do yourself a solid and get out to see Jay!!

Jay was great host, very involved with guest right from start of us arriving. Loved the small interment environment. Very clever and entertaining evening. Highly recommend activity while in San Francisco

My partner is uncomfortable in tight small upstairs and basement theater spaces where fire exits seem either non-existent or problematic. Is this theater space certified as
safe by the SF Fire Dept and do patrons ever comment about feeling potentially trapped?

We have never had anyone mention anything and the fire department has been down here many times.
I would recommend calling us and we can discuss it and I will send you photos.
It is an old San Francisco building and I would hate for your partner to feel uncomfortable.

The doors open and hour before showtime. We have food and drinks in the lounge and close-up magic. The show lasys 75-90 minutes. The entire nigh is 2-2.5 hours if you come for the entire experience.

$45.00 is correct. We paid an extra $10.00 each for guaranteed front row seats. It was very worth the extra, but keep in mind the theater only has about 6 rows, so all seats are good.

Absolutely. Kids are welcome and the area before the show is a restaurant where you order food, as well as beer or wine if you want. Cozy and exotic, but not a bar.
