Too political. This was our favorite theater for many years but we're done. Every performance has to be a political statement. The simple fun and enjoyment is gone.

We decided last minute, to see the "Mid Summer's night dream" at this theatre. You can get drinks before or during intermission. They can provide you a plastic cup to take into the theatre. The performance was wonderful. We had a great time. It was reasonable priced, and we had great seats.

We were terribly disappointed in their performance of Midsummer Night's Dream. For the price of tickets, we were expecting a reasonable budget for appropriate costumes. At least one of the actors didn't seem to know his/her lines. I have seen many high school plays, with minimal budgets, performed much more professionally. Being a former high school Shakespeare teacher & having taken classes to countless Ashland performances (as well as seeing plays at Stratford-upon-Avon) I expected to see some authenticity instead of a "woke" performance. I could have driven to Ashland for that. We left at intermission, knowing we were missing the highlight of the "play within a play," but not wanting to suffer through until the end.

We were here for a play put on by Artist's Repertory Theatre while their building was being upgraded. We have also been here for a number of other plays.

We love going to The Armory! Comfortable seats, well mannered crowd, warm cookies for a $1.00 during intermission. Plays are always well done.

PCS does a terrific job with their plays and musicals. They do a great job with actor selection/presentation. The seats are more comfortable than the average theater - there is actually enough space for knees. The size is nice too as the audience is just the right size to not feel overwhelmed. Bravo!

It was a great play. The Center Stage is a great venue. We sat near the front, but I think there is not a bad seat in the house.

Loved the intimate feel to this venue. Great location near restaurants, shopping, hotels as well. Will definitely attend another show there when in Portland.

No bad seats, but it is pretty large so I like seats A-E. Best part is that the restrooms are off lower side of stage, so if you have seats close to the stage, you can make it to the restrooms before the middle and back end get there.

The Mark Spencer Hotel is the official hotel partner of Portland Center Stage and an excellent choice - it is very close to the Armory.
