We had a great time trying nordic skiing at the Keystone Nordic center. We went two days, took a lesson each day. Both of our instructors, Jill and Jana, were just great [Jana had been on the US Olympic team, and we saw Jill out racing several days later]. The rest of the staff, Susan in particular, was wonderful as well, fitting our equipment. We don't have much experience but the trails were great for us, beautiful scenery, some hills up and down, and all-in-all a very nice track to go on. This was a great place to have some outdoor fun. We tried the Frisco Nordic center and it was also top-notch, we would recommend both of these places.

My daughter and I spent the afternoon here and did the snowshoe eco hike with Randy as well as cross country ski lesson with Edie. Both experiences were awesome and highly recommended! We had not intended to include the ski lesson, but it was a beautiful day and not crowded at all, so the staff was extremely accommodating to make the additional experience happen for us. The grounds and trails were extremely well maintained.

COVID times are difficult for all but Keystone Nordic Center still has excellent customer service. Ray helped us get our rentals and Edie's lesson was fantastic. We loved it so much we came back the next day and customer service was top notch.

We got a groupon for $25 per person which included all the gear plus a full day pass. We spent about 3 hours exploring the trail around the golf course (easy does it). Beautiful homes, Gorgeous views , and easy course. It was pretty much empty. We got there at 9:30 and then ate our picnic lunch at the Cross country center and saw LOTS of people arriving. I would recommend going earlier rather than later. Don't overdress either since you work up quite a sweat!!

The tubing hill is a lot of fun and well organized by the staff. Did cross country skiing last time but just helped with the grandkids this time around. Hot cocoa and several types of soup made a perfect lunch!

The eco tour offered on Monday & Wednesday mornings is a great way to learn to snow shoe and learn about the area. The soup lunch at the Nordic Center was the best meal I had in Keystone and the best price.

While we were in Keystone for a conference, we decided to take a couple of hours out before heading back down to Denver at the KNC. It's small, not particularly fancy or upscale, but also fun, and I really enjoyed "snowshoeing" (more like contemplative walking, in my case) the perimeter trail. Not wilderness by any stretch of the imagination--it's called the perimeter trail because it goes around the perimeter of the center, which is in the middle of several different developments, and in the summer it's a golf course. But there's some lovely views, I think I met maybe five to seven people the entire time I was out on the trail (if you've been out at a CO ski resort on a Sunday afternoon, you'll know to treasure this), and I enjoyed the soup and fresh baked rolls at the Center's easy-going lunch counter. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, plenty of parking close by the center. If you want wilderness, head out further than right outside Dillon, fer catsake.

Followed the friendly staff’s advice and went out first in Easy Does It, which starts with a downhill and then has most pleasing flats and hills with beautiful natural surroundings. Then back to the center for a lunch break, followed by Fox Trot and Norwegian Way for a more strenuous workout with steeper hills amidst more natural beauty. Just a great day.

A group of us were in Silverthorne. For the weekend we decided to do XC ski. We opted for the XC lesson at keystone Nordic center. And were we happy we made the choice?!
The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful. If you are new to this sport I highly recommend taking the lesson. It’s a 1.5 hours class introducing the basics and plenty of hands on (ski on) practices and one on one coaching before they let you loose. Special thanks to coaches Jana and Clare.
The price ($55 for Jan 2019) includes the lesson and rentals and ski on their trails till 4 pm. It was a great price! I’ll will definitely come back again.
Oh and did someone already mention the soup was delicious!!

We visited the Keystone Nordic Center in December of 2018, and found it to be a real disappointment. They seem to groom the trails only twice a week, which left the tracks uneven and sloppy, their lodge was only so-so, and you are exposed to endless traffic noise from the highway. There are much better choices close by.
