This place is great for a drink, authentic small bar, clean, safe and friendly staff. Lots of fun, a good mix of local clientele and locals.

Bar típica americano! Tomamos una cerveza helada, en un bar en el que no puedes para de mirar a todos lados y sorprenderte con cada esquina.

We had just arrived into town for our 4 day jaunt into Yosemite. We had pizza next door (give them a try!)
I couldn't resist walking into the Dirty Donkey. I wasn't disappointed. My mind of place. Quirky, dive bar, juke box playing. I ordered a whisky and just enjoyed the local vibe...

Stayed at the motel next door ad stopped in here after dinner for a quick beer. I stayed for hours. Just a fun little dive bar, mostly inhabited by locals. Pool tables, juke box, TV, and tall boys on ice. Very inexpensive - enjoyed the lively discussions with the bartenders and the regulars. Lot of nostalgia on the walls and ceilings. If dive bars are your thing, this is a fine little, unpretentious place to spend an enjoyable evening.

Not recommended. Unfriendly owner, staff, and customers. Try the bar across the road, much more welcoming.

Cool vibe but even cooler bartender. Nothing on tap but they have large cans and bottle service. Save your craft beer desires for the big city. No Amaretto but they had Frangelico, Kailua and Irish cream along with lots of whiskey, vodka, and other spirits along those lines. I didn't know what to order but the nicest bartender helped me figure it out and spent a little time chatting with us. Nice ending to a lovely visit to Yosemite.

This little bar is amazing . We were reluctant to go in at first but I'm so glad we did ! Lovely staff , friendly locals . Very cheap prices compared to what we have been paying !!! So much to see inside too . Dollar bills stuck to the walls and ceilings it's brill . A MUST if staying in oakhurst !

Not for children or sensitive folks....this is an adult "biker bar" free of drugs (MJ, etc)
Shades of the good old college hangouts in the 60's. Colorful interior design, place to sit and laugh and talk to travelers from all over the world...with a classic American flavor.
Great jukebox music, private patio, pizza rest. next door. Only one single Malt Scotch (Glenlivet) but full bar otherwise. Bartenders polite and alert, (great service), Clean bathrooms.......CASH ONLY.....$20 T-shirts....best priced beer in the area...'just do it"

Run down dark kind of a low life setting. If your into getting drunk with a group of drunk locals the dirty donky is your ticket
