I was charged 960 per adult and they said u will spend a good 1 hour inside. I was out within 10 minutes. There is absolutely nothing..half of the statues are poorly detailed. The characters look like beggars or ghosts sorry to say. Don't waste going in here. Absolute waste of money..

If you are a first timer, read this fully for a satisfying experience.
Location :Located near to Rajiv chowk metro station.
But the entrance is comparatively small and for first timers its not so easy to notice.
Parking : couldn't find any dedicated parking nearby. But their website mentions that nearest parking is 2min away. we went through a cab.
Tickets: the best way to buy tickets is through klook app. As I got two tickets for 710rs total. While the official site says the online ticket is 650 and direct ticket rate is 900.
You can also check and buy the tickets through many other online sites. Kids below three years can visit free. And there is a child ticket for kids above 3 years.
And I had lot of doubts regarding VIP tickets but Noone shared about it extensively. And it's a waste of money in my view if you are visiting on a week day or weekend morning.
Customer service - have mixed feedback about them.
The front desk people - not so concerned about ViP tickets or explaining about the benefits. They just check the online tickets and let you in.
There was no disturbance or irritating supervisors once you are inside. Free to roam here and there and click as many pics as possible.
Only when we entered the bollywood actors area in the final area of museum, we found an official photographer, who clicks pics for us. And even they don't tell any specifics and cost of photographs.
To our utter disappointment, after the complete tour, we came to know that, we can take as many pics using the photographer and get them all as soft copy in a pen drive for around 500rs ( great deal but never disclosed).. Since we had less time, we didn't take a second round to get professional pics.
The sales person in the wax hand molding areas was really helpful. We need to pay around 800 for a wax hand mould with filling. Must buy here. (though it's pricey).
Wax statues - No complaints about the statues. They are fairly good and close to real life persons. My personal Favourites were Sachin, salman khan, mary Kom, will Smith. There were some very poorlu made statues too like sunny Leone.
Some statues have nice photo ops like Salman khan on cycle rickshaw, Tom cruise on a bike.
And the bollywood hollywood sections had very less light to capture good pics.
Points to note:
1. Spend minimum 2 hours to have fun wit your family clicking individual pics.
2. Use the official photographer as much as possible. As u can get the soft copies at a much cheaper rate. Physical copies cost too much.
3. Outside food and drinks will be kept in locker. You can collect while returning back.
4. Go early in morning to enjoy with out crowd.

The biggest wax museum in India. I have been to some of the wax museum in India but all are very small with a limited number of stsutes. But this one at Delhi has life like statues and statues of famous personalities of different fields. Counter ticket price and online ticket price is different. While the counter price for an adult ticket is Rs.960/- online price of the same is Rs.576/-.Even you can do the online ticket from your mobile on the spot and show them the same. A small entrance in the sea of shops in CP, but once inside it is so huge that some single statue is placed in one room. They also keep changing the statues. A photographer from their side also clicks in his camera and later they sold it to you as memento, but not compulsorily. A souvenir shop is there before exit, but the price of items are very high.

It’s awkward, but one fact hits you the moment you enter. The local stars are definitely difficult to recognise or are poor imitations of the real ones while the western stars are truly lifelike. Some come across as caricatures from a cartoon comic. Others like a hasty attempt to put together. Does not come remotely close to the standards at some of the western branches.
Definitely worth a miss, little surprise we were the only guests on a cool Sunday afternoon.

Madame Tussade in Delhi is a fun visit for some fun photos with your fave celebs. The wax figures are exquisite. There is also a counter, that allows you to make wax model of your hands. We loved that activity. Overall a fun place. Ideal for kids too

Is it permissible to take photos with any statue of my choice or are there some restrictions. Also help me with best time and day to visit, when it is less jam packed. Thanks

You are free to click photographs with any statue. I carried my SLR camera without any hassle.
If you want to avoid the crowd, go on a week day or the first half on weekends.

Is buying a guidebook worth it? Is it an audio book?

If you are an Indian and a bollywood/hollywood movie fan with some knowledge in sports then you are in right place otherwise go to Palika for shopping.
At what time it closes. If i enter 7 p.m. on sunday, how much time will i get inside.

Missed ur query , however going on 7 pm on a Sunday will not be an enjoyable experience on account of crowds
is VIP ticket worth its price or shall we go for normal tickets only ?
abhi_af
New Delhi, India7 bijdragen
I would suggest you go for a normal ticket as a VIP ticket will give you an extra guidebook(which i don't think is of much significance) and jump the queue access (the place as such is not that much crowded except maybe on a sunday evening). Also an online booking of normal ticket will cost you 480 per person instead of 1400 for a VIP ticket.

Dear Guest,
You can surely take your DSLR camera and there is no any extra charges for carrying your own DSLR.
