The best way to describe this cafe is vibes. This place is all about good vibes, creative vibes, and warm vibes. I loved their food. I will highly recommend their pizzas.

Кафе остается в памяти в связи с отсутствием национальной атрибутики, национальных блюд. Данное кафе не запомнилось бы, если бы находилось в Европе. Достаточно вкусно и разнообразно.

Это место скорее напоминает парижские кофейни чем кафе в мусульманской стране. Для Иордании весьма необычное место. Однако здесь подаются только безалкогольные напитки, но было очень кстати выпить что нибудь наслаждаясь видами из панорамных окон.

tables on the pedestrian walk way out in the noisy street

you can reach out and shake hands with car drivers if they give you a table outside.....in the same area "jabal amman" or the nearby "jabal al webdeh" there are better places with a nice view on the old parts of amman if you want to chill a bit at night in a quiet place when you're in the area...

Disappointing :(

I visited this cafe with a few friends on multiple occasions. We used to love it, as its a casual artsy cafe overlooking Rainbow street. The location is perfect for enjoying hot cocoa on a rainy day or an iced tea on hot summary day.
However, the last couple I times we visited, we were quite disappointed. The service wasn't up to par, lights were off (not sure if this was for ambiance or to save energy), and the bathroom was terrible!
Also, we ordered the house wine (which for an odd reason is not on the menu) but both available wines were horrible... As in they had gone bad, but it was still being offered.
Unfortunately, we will not be visiting again.

Nice chilled out cafe
Up the hill on rainbow street, is a peaceful little street, where cafe des artistes is situated.

They only have a few tables and big glass doors that open onto the street. The lemon and mint juice is lovely, and the food, although simple is fresh and tasty...

Funky little cafe on Rainbow Street.

A little boutique vintage Parisian style art gallery/cafe.

We only had drinks which were reasonably priced given the location, around 2JOD for soft drink and 3JOD for lemon mint. Free WiFi and nice to people watch with the open patio doors.

Waiter was very pleasant.

Small, cozy café on Rainbow Street. Small menu but ok for lunch. A very good place to stop and rest.

I loved this charming little place! Great art, great placement and a great lunch! Very funky design and well worth a visit :-)

Great little place to sit and watch the world go by...

I've been in Amman for about six months, and have only just discovered this little gem of a cafe in Rainbow Street. With artwork on the walls, bright and quirky furniture in its two storeys of seating space, and a fantastic view out over the hustle and bustle of the street, Cafe des Artistes is a fun place to spend an afternoon. I haven't tried the food there - only drinks (hot chocolate, which was average - nothing to write home about, but not bad either) - but the menu looks interesting. The service was decent, with staff speaking English, and I was really pleased to find that the upper level of the cafe is non-smoking. (It would be better if the lower floor was too, but that's a story for another day!) Great place to catch up with friends, or to sit and watch the world go by...

(Also, no idea why this is listed as an attraction...?)
