Nejšílenější, ale opravdu nejšílenější věc na které jsem kdy byl 😀 stavba jak z nějakého fantasy filmu. Na kulatou plošinu se dostane každý i ten kdo má strach z výšek vedou na ní schody vnitřkem věže. Kdo chce jít až na vrchol musí nadále jít venkovním schodištěm. Kdo má strach z výšek, není dobrý nápad tam jít. Schodiště se každým patrem ztenčují. Tato věž je opravdu správný adrenalin a gratulace všem kdo dokáže vylézt až na horu 👏. Cestu k věži můžete podniknout tuktukem nebo pěšky, ale je to dost vysoko. Kolem věže je ještě park kde mají zastoupení křesťanské, budhisticke, hinduistické, židovské a muslimské náboženství svými malými stavby.

Amazing views of Central highlands from this complex. Best place to relax and enjoy the nature. Highly recommend for those who love nature.

Multi religious complex in Sri Lanka. Major highlight is the spiral tower. Reaching here would not be difficult but the road up here is very steep and if the vehicle is loaded it could be hard. We did it on a vitz and a picanto. Since 5 people were traveling, vitz was stuck at a point and then we had to get down the people and do that hard stretch. But it is doable in any kind of vehicle. Tuk tuk guys at the bottom will try to fool you saying it is not doable. Don’t get caught.
You have to buy a ticket to enter, 50pp and 100 per vehicle. There are enough spaces to park the vehicle at top. Try to reach there early morning when there’s less crowd. When we visited it was largely crowded and there was a huge rush to climb the tower. It took us nearly 2 hours to climb and come back. Although there’s nothing at the top the view is certainly amazing.
Must visit place at least once.

Nice place to visit. beware if you go day on thunder and shower not recommend to stay on top when lighting. must visted place in sri lanka

Живописное место. Если путешествовать с экскурсий вас подвозят до самой башни на тук-туке. Можно подняться на самый верх, но выходные обычно много народу и подниматься будете долго. Вид открывается потрясающий.

Яркие впечатления с самого начала дороги вам обеспечены!т Экстремальный подъем и желание забраться на самую высокую точку!Мы это сделали и до сих пор живем впечатлениями об этом месте.Красивые виды со всех сторон с вершины башни и замечательные храмы во дворике у подножия!и конечно же гостеприимные ланкийцы,всегда готовые оказать помощь.На обратном пути увидели стаи обезьян.Это был очередной потрясающий день на Шри-Ланке.

A kilátó a Gampola városa melletti hegyen épült. A hegyre, a kilátótorony lábához egyszerű a feljutás, mert a bejáratnál épített parkolótól az ott utasokra várakozó tuk - tukok egyikével lehet feljutni, bár aki jó erőben érzi magát, az gyalog is feljuthat az egyébként nem túl jó minőségű, kaptatós, meredek úton. A tuk - tuk utazás az erősebb idegzetűeknek ajánlott, mert ha véletlenül rosszul vált a sofőr, lefullad a motor, vagy bármilyen apró hibát követ el, akkor a járgány visszagurul, és az utasaival együtt menthetetlenül lezuhan a mélybe. Feljutva a kilátóhoz ott a buddhista templom mellett egy szépen gondozott árnyas kis kertben a három világvallás, az iszlám, a keresztény, és a hindu vallás templomait találhatjuk. Innen már csak a torony tetejére kell felmászni, amit a tériszonyban szenvedőknek nem ajánlok. Az első teraszos részig, oda a torony belső részén visz fel a lépcső, nem okoz gondot a feljutás, azonban a csúcsig már az építmény külső oldalán vezetett tekergős keskeny lépcsőn lehet feljutni, amit a mélység látványán túl az erős szél is nehezít. Akinek szerencséje van, az napsütéses tiszta időt fog ki, amikor csodás látványban lehet része. Felhős időben sajnos nem teljes az élmény, a ködbe, és felhőbe burkolózó táj miatt.

If you happen to be in the area you must visit this place! It’s a great experience to have and try to climb up the tower itself if you don’t have fear of heights.
PS. You will need to get a Toktok to get you all the way up and Climbing up the tower itself gets actually really difficult specially that it’s very narrow on the top

Amazing view with amazing place. Not so many turists there. More local young people. Roud was bit scary by tuktuk.

If you use public transport which are train or buses. It costs nearly Rs. 100 per one and cost for tuk tuk from gampola to ambuluwawa is around Rs. 1000 Total If you hire a van or car It may cost around Rs. 4000 from kandy. Uber also available you can check out that option also.

If you take TukTuk from gampola railway it will cost like Rs 1000. But also available public bus transport as well. Also available find TukTuk from ambuluwawa to top mountain will be Rs 500.

Hi dear, If you take a tuk tuk from gampola town U have to pay about 900 or 1000 rupees. it takes time about 20 minutes to reach ambuluwawa tower from gampola town. U can also take the bus from gampola bus station route is Gampola to hemmathagama and you have to get down at the ticket counter and bus fair is 25 rupees per person and you can hire a tuk tuk from the ticket counter and cost is 500 for up and you have to pay Rs.700 for both up and down. I think you can hire a tuk tuk from gampola town and before you go ask the price and try to bargain when you return down from tower you can walk on down it may be a nice experience to you and then take a tuk tuk from ticket counter to get back to Gampola town and cost is Rs.400

You can , take any train towards Badulla or nuwara Eliya leaving from Kandy. Get off at GAMPOLA. it’s very close from there. And Gampola is few stations away from Kandy.
