Abbiamo trovato questo localino grazie ad un amica…accogliente,dal sapore artistico,cogli fin da subito che è speciale,offre musica dal vivo,spettacoli teatrali e danza…ogni sera che lo abbiamo frequentato abbiamo trovato intrattenimento e gente differente questo vuol dire che sa offrire e accogliere diversità.
Lo consiglio anche per gli ottimi cocktail,per la buona compagnia e per i ragazzi che lo gestiscono che hanno davvero una marcia in più.

This place is the most amazing independent Arts Center in the whole state. They have different local / national artists every night (music, dance, theatre...) and a little local art gallery upstairs, where you can find the most peculiar pieces of art which they change regularly. It has a mixed crowd, brought together by the love for Arts, for supporting artists and for spending time in a cool, laid-back place. Do not go there in a hurry, this place is made to be savored and observed. This is where all the artists in Bacalar get together and meet artists from all around the world, just passing by or there to stay... The kitchen offers simple and cheap options (a couple are vegan) and the bar has great drinks with artisanal mezcal. It's a great place if you are traveling solo, too! Definitely A MUST in Bacalar!

If you are in town, go check this place out in the evening. Drink prices are good and they have several food options including a great pizza.
While there, we got to see a great presentation with dance, comedy and magic.
It has a very local hipster/hippie vibe as well.

Es el mejor lugar para conocer la verdadera escena de l@s buen@s artistas locales y quienes andan rolando en el caribe mexicano ¡se puede cenar rico, platicar y bailar! Es el mejor lugar de Bacalar, Q.Roo para tomarse unas cervecitas, un buen mezcal o un pulque... Galeón Pirata Centro Cultural Independiente

Los precios y están marcados en el menú de una forma y al momento de cobrarte te aumentan el precio. No te atienden en mesa pero tampoco te lo hacen saber.

Sin duda El Galeón del Pirata es un lugar que debes visitar en tus salidas nocturnas en Bacalar.
Dependiedo del dia, el lugar se viste de diversos géneros musicales.La noche de mi visita fue de música salsa con un conjunto en vivo. Conforme iba trascurriendo la noche más personas iban llegando y el ambiente se ponía cada vez mejor.
Si después de una buena sesión de baile se abre tu apetito, El Galeón del Pirata ofrece unas pizzas riquísimas hechas al horno y a un precio bastante accesible. En mi visita, tuve la oportunidad de probar la Hawaiiana y estaba deliciosa.
También cuentan con varias cervezas nacionales y coctelería (con o sin alcohol).
Definitivamente un lugar de cuyo ambiente no te puedes perder!

This place is a cool local music venue in a palapa.style building. They have a great sound system and lots of friendly people.
Please ignore the Google map attached to this listing which puts galeón south of the fort. It seems actually between Calle 30 and 32 on avenue 1 which fronts lake Bacalar. Enjoy.

Nos recomendaron visitar este lugar y tuvimos la suerte de que comenzaba el festival de arte bacalar 2018 en donde grupos invitados y músicos hicieron de la noche algo muy especial Nos tocó que participar a un grupo de ciclistas que viajan por el mundo transmitiendo un mensaje de paz y armonía con su música y documentales de conciencia en el uso de la bicicleta y la reducción de los automotores, disfrutamos de bebidas a un precio correcto y una deliciosa pizza hecha por manos italianas, en el lugar encuentras todo tipo de personalidades la onda es más bien hippie no hay código de vestimenta y nadie es discriminado punto a favor!! Es un lugar libre y muy local!! Si quieres pasar un buen rato con bebidas decentes y a buen precio no dudes en ir!!
