We had a great tour with Tyler! He was enthusiastic and had a great sense of humor. Tyler was very knowledgeable and made this tour of Oahu a memorable experience.

Chase was our driver and he was wonderful! We had a great time on this tour. It ended up needing to be upgraded to a private tour for an extra charge, but it was worth it. The communication and discussion about this change was great. We saw so much stuff, but did not feel rushed.

Liked the macadamia farm the best. Tour guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. The van was a little tight as it was full. We did get a larger van about half way through. Good trip if you just want to check the area no long stays at one place but got to see a lot.

Sierra was a fantastic guide! It was great to have a tour from the perspective of a Native Hawaiian. She created a very memorable experience and made the entire tour well worth it!

Daniel was great. We had a total of 12 on a very nice sprinter van. I really wanted to see a turtle on the beach and he made that happen. He gave us a boxed water but recommend bringing your own drink and comfortable shoes and light sweater in case the AC is too cold.

My wife and I were in Ohau for a cruse and decide to take a couple of private tours of the island. We took one before the cruise and one after. Our guides were Sierra and Ethan. Sierra took the North Shore and Ethan took the South Shore. Both were natives and knew a lot of each site. We had a great time with both. Our tours were just my wife and I and the guide. The guides were a lot of fun. These private tours probably cost a little more but once you have one, you will never go back. You can stop whenever you want and take as long as you like at sites. The guides knew the best food trucks for lunch. The cars were big, clean and comfortable. A perfect addition to our vacation.

The tour guide was great but they listed 2 stops that we did not do. I wanted to see the old town on the North Shore plus we did not go to Giovannis for lunch

Really nice tour around the island seeing a few beaches and sites. The scenery is amazing. The tour is a good overview of the island that took about 6 hours. Really loved the north side and the food trucks!
Made me really want to come back to this amazing island.
The driver was lovely and really informative on things to do, places to eat and a bit of island history.

We booked this tour months in advance and was given an itinerary. I am attaching it below for reference. Before I get into that, let me say that Johnny was a delight. I really enjoyed his knowledge and his funny jokes. He was great! We were told that there would be water included in our tour and on a hot day, we sure could have used it but were not offered any.
Our biggest issue was that we really didn't get to do everything that the itinerary indicated. My family was most disappointed that we did not get to stop at the Dole Plantation to walk around and of course, taste some of that world famous dole whip. This was indicated as one of the stops on the tour and there was no explanation as to why we didn't stop there.
The other places that were highlighted as stops that we did not get to stop at were:

Exclusive Stop: Secluded Beach in Waikiki* - Home of Hawaiian Monk Seals
Sandy Beach Lookout* - Most Dangerous Beach in the USA

I chose this particular island tour because it differed from others and was really looking forward to those other stops.
Though we did get to take some great pictures, overall, we were rather disappointed and felt that the day and tour could have been better.

If I wanted a private tour, but similar, how much would that cost?
Do you pick up/drop off at Royal Hawaiian Hotel?
If I book the regular tour and it's cancelled due to not meeting minimum number of passengers, when will I know that? How much in advance?
We have 6 adults and 2 children ages 6 and 9. It listed group of 7, would this be possible for the Dole plantation small group?
