Niet boekenDe 20 haltes werden niet aangedaan, bus kwam max 1x per uur bij een halte, schreeuwende gids die weinig over de stad vertelde en veel anekdotes vertelde waar ze zelf hard om moest lachen, audio werkte niet, haltes stonden niet met exacte locatie op de plattegrond waardoor je erg moest zoeken Het nummer wat je kon bellen als je gedurende de dag kon bellen was buiten gebruik……. Etc. Veel hop-on-hop-off bussen geboekt in steden maar nog nooit zoiets slechts meegemaak. NIET BOEKEN!
- 403christienv00We zijn voor 100 dollar opgelicht door Hop on Hop off Luxury Tours San Francisco.100 dollar weggegooid; kaartjes gekocht maar er rijden nauwelijks bussen. Uren wachten op een bus, geen duidelijke vertrektijden, bij reclame op het kantoor alleen maar smoesjes en geen restitutie of tegemoetkoming. Oud, verwaarloosd materieel. Pure oplichting!
- Willem_vB_07800Een tour guide met issuesWe stapten in bij de Golden Gate Bridge. De tour guide vond het nodig om voortdurend te schreeuwen en vond zichzelf erg grappig. Onze 10 maanden oude baby vond dat wat minder en moest verschillende malen hard huilen doordat de zotte tour guide het nodig vond om in tunnels de longen uit z'n lijf te schreeuwen in de bus. Gewoon niet leuk.

Disappointing. If you decide to hop off it’s likely you won’t be hopping back on. The company didn’t pick us up again when we decided to check out the painted ladies. We waited well over an hour and had to get an Uber back to our hotel. I’ve given it 2 stars as we did manage to see the Golden Gate Bridge. You won’t get much of a commentary with this company so you won’t learn very much about the city unfortunately. And the buses are old… there were chairs missing. Be careful as the company will offer discounts and push you to buy tickets before you’ve checked out their rival Big Bus. I would opt for the Big Bus tour, more expensive but from what I’ve heard from others it’s a far superior tour and it will pick you up at regular intervals at given stops.

Chino & Saggy are the BEST!!! Super fun & informative LIVE tour with Chino as our guide. Beautiful sunny day with an air show happening as we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge! He even took us to Presidio for a fallen marine’s ceremony. Awesome tour!!! :)

Kirk was an amazing and lively tour guide. We got to see lots of major tour sites and the ride was super fun. Highly recommend booking, totally worth it 🤩 Once we hopped back on we then had Marquis and Mr. Lee and they were up-beat and hilarious. Great company!

Excellent tour well worth it. Used it to go over the Golden Gate Bridge, hopped off walked across the bridge and back again and hopped back on another bus. The guides were very good, knowledgeable and quite funny particularly I think his name was Don. I would recommend this bus tour to get a good feel for a wonderful city.

I bought two 48 hours tickets on Dec 28 around 2:30 PM from the website which were not 2 days one. That is the reason why I chose your ticket instead of Big Bus.
Because of rain, I just used the bus only once for 28,29th and just tried to use it one more time to go to the Palace of Fine Art on Dec 30 from Fisherman wharf within 48 hours. Despite waiting a long time in the rain with my little son at your bus stop, I couldn't see the bus and company didn't answer my several phone calls. Then I asked one of the staff of Big bus, he told me the company only opens the days when there are some guests who bought tickets the day.
Also no audio guide and very old bus
I complained about this via email, but they never answer me.
Terrible and fraud company. It ruined the reputation of San Francisco!!

Pésimamente organizado, teníamos ticket por 2 días y empezaba a las 9:30 el primer día , pues inició a las 10:40, donde nos llevó un bus de acercamiento al inicio del tour que comenzó desde otro punto, luego el tour no cumplió con el recorrido completo (solo algunas de las paradas), al día siguiente no funcionó por lluvia ( lo cual el día anterior cuando compramos nos dijeron que si funcionaría), les recomiendo no tomar tour aquí, muy mal organizado y cercano a una estafa, mucho mejor Big Bus u otro.

Ok so a balanced view - the tour was not expensive but eventful and we learnt a lot about where to go for food live music and cheap beer ( really good advice @ $10 vs $5. Damion was fantastic invest in your guides we need to know where the value and local stuff is - the bus drivers were patient and entertaining - but you need to get the buses sorted - I will be back in January and will be checking you out again

Worse than awful. Angry, verbally-abusive drivers. No guides on most buses. Horrible sound system when there was a guide (looks like there's only one!). Bus would not stop at most of the designated stops. We had to shout and bang on the walls to be let off. No wifi on board, even though it was advertised. Overall a terrible experience we will never repeat again.

Returning customers enjoying our tour with our friends Saggy and Chino! They took us to great locations throughout the city and crossed the Golden State bridge. Chino is very personable and makes us feel like we’re meeting up with an old friend. He knows the city very well and is very helpful to those who are not familiar with the city.

I am mortified that I didn't read the reviews of this scam company before I paid $127 for two of us. I am joining the other reviewers who are disputing the charges with their credit card company. I paid for a combo tour--$60 per person-- and ended up with nothing except frustration! And no tour. OK, here I go:
First, the website said to meet at one of two places. The email confirmation said to meet at only one location (the one further from our hotel). It never said what time. The "chat anytime" never responded. I called TWELVE times in the morning, the calls were never answered, and the mailbox was full.
Second, we did go to the stop closer to our hotel, and we met others with the same dilemmas. At some point, a bus pulled up, we got on, but the driver didn't speak English and there was no commentary. We had no idea what was up. It arrived at Fisherman's Wharf and was met by an English-speaking company representative . OK, things might be improving. NOT!
Third, when exiting the bus, the rep told us that the tour, 2+ hours long, would be leaving in 1 1/4 hours. I was in NO mood to waste that time at the #1 SF tourist trap area, which I'd done two days ago. After he described how the day would go, it became clear that it was only hop on hop off the SAME bus. It was a tour, and NOT hop on hop off as the website said. And NO mention of the combo that I bought, to see other parts of the city, too.
Four, I was furious! I began to discuss my frustrations with the rep. He tried to explain why the company couldn't change their website and printed flyers. I gave him suggestions (to change the phone greeting and put a sign on the Union Square shuttle). He said that he'd tell the owner. Then the pressure must have gotten to him because he said, "I probably will quit my job because I hate my job and the pressure that all the complaints are causing me."
Five, do as I do and go around the corner to BugBus Tours. It was wonderful, on time, and I learned a lot. And......the sales rep took much pity on me when I told him what had happened. He said, yes, their "office" is someone's house.
Six,: forewarned is forearmed. Do NOT use this company!
