Tour gids is zeer kundig en aardig, vertelt leuk en stopt regelmatig op de mooiste plekken. Zoveel mooie en verrassende dingen gezien, dat was je zelf nooit gelukt! Zeker een aanrader, wij hebben het sochtends gedaan en hierdoor alles gezien en bezocht terwijl we maar 1 dag hadden. Je wordt rondgereden in een volkswagen busje dus lekker een kleine groep, zelfs mijn inklapbare rolstoel kon mee zouden het zo overdoen

Zeker aanrader !Vantigo Tours biedt in een halve dag een prima eerste kennismaking met de stad. alle highlights worden aangedaan. leuk om in een oud VW busje rond te rijden.... veel andere toeristen willen met het busje op de foto ! Zachary was onze gids. hij vertelt veel, doet dit op een ontspannen en leuke manier.... met kwisvragen en een enkele prijsje ! Ook draait hij toepasselijke muziek bij wat je ziet !! hij is zelf fotograaf en maakte graag foto's van ons. gezelschap is maximaal 7 personen (wij waren met gezin van 4 en een een Amerikaans stel) dat maakt het persoonlijk. als je ergens wilt stoppen voor een foto dan kan dat makkelijk. prijs is aan hoge kant, maar is het zeker waard. aanrader !
- PaulArts00Absolute aarnrader!Met vijf collega's een half day tour gedaan door San Francisco met een van hun VW busjes. Erg leuke, spontane gids met humor. De tour is anders dan stardaard tours. Het busje is fantastisch, interessante verhalen afgewisseld met muziek en humer. Zeker de moeite waard om te doen!
- mrGilster00Must do in San Francisco!!!We zochten naar een mooie introductie tbv SF om vervolgens zelf verder de stad te verkennen. Helemaal in het geval van SF hadden we geen zin in clichés en toen we Vantigo ontdekten waren we verkocht; we hebben de city lights tour geboekt. Boeking, vooraf (via internet) verliep uitstekend, let op dit is noodzakelijk. Wie wil niet door San Francisco in een jaren 60 VW bus? We kwamen iets te vroeg bij de ophaal locatie, van een afstand zagen we het busje al klaar staan, super cool! Warm en persoonlijk ontvangst, gezien de grote van het busje lekker klein groepje om de avond 'trip' samen mee te ervaren. Wijn, bier en fris gratis!!!! Tour door de stad onwijs leuk gedaan: -vw busje is echt geweldig -thematische muziek -interactieve tour -alle top locaties (inclusief stops) -crash course SF -Past helemaal in de sfeer van de locaties -persoonlijk en sympathieke 'layed back' begeleiding met gevoel voor humor -inclusief drankjes etc -groepjes van max 6-7 personen Sla de standaard (hop on en off) tours over en kies voor Vantigo en de VW bus door San Francisco!!!! Echt een aanrader en value for money. We zouden bij een volgend bezoek aan SF zeker nog een van de andere tours van Vantigo willen doen.

If I could rate this tour 100/10 I would. I was lucky enough that this was my second time on this tour. I did it back in 2016 with my family and took my friend this year in 2023. We opted to do the tour on our second day of the trip and it’s the perfect way to get an overview to then decide what you want to come back and visit in more detail. The tour feels personal as it’s in a much smaller group than the commercial tour buses. Also most tour buses aren’t allowed in a large portion of the city so through supporting this small tour business you also get access to places in the city others don’t.
Chad was our tour guide this time and he was amazing!!! Super personable and passionate about what he does. Always happy to take lots of cool and cringe tourist pictures for you!!! The best kind of pictures!! I want to thank him for making the experience extra special! You also don’t notice that a few hours have passed by, which to me is a great sign!!
I couldn’t recommend doing a tour with this company any more, if I return to San Francisco a third time you can bet I will be doing this tour again!!

We had a wonderful time on this tour. We only had a day in San Francisco, and this was a great way to see all the highlights. Chad is an excellent tour guide, fun and engaging, and we learned so much about the city. Our kids (17,20,22yo) loved the tour. The 1971 VW bus, manual transmission going up the San Fran hills, made the tour that much more fun. We saw the whole city and Chad even had some snacks and drinks for us. Very much recommend this tour!!!

We did a private tour with Chad for my gf 25th birthday and it was worth every dollar. From the cool vintage vw bus, to the beautiful scenery, Chad provide d a tour service to be reckoned with.

Chad is an excellent tour guide (and driver). He tailored the tour to the interests of my two teenage daughters. They had a ball.
Of course, the experience of driving around San Francisco in a 1971 VW Combi van was THE highlight for me (as well as the indefatigable San Francisco fog which obscured the view of the Golden Gate and the Bay). Despite the fog, and impeded view, Chad ensured that our experience was interesting, diverse and engaging.
I would fully recommend Vantigo to anyone that is seeking a broad experience of San Francisco in half a day.
Of course, the experience of driving around San Francisco in a 1971 VW Combi van was THE highlight for me (as well as the indefatigable San Francisco fog which obscured the view of the Golden Gate and the Bay). Despite the fog, and impeded view, Chad ensured that our experience was interesting, diverse and engaging.
I would fully recommend Vantigo to anyone that is seeking a broad experience of San Francisco in half a day.

Fantastic tour of the city.
Loved the VW van. Chad had great knowledge of the city and seemed to hit the key spots. We were also impressed with his knowledge of the history of the city and surrounding area. Since we went with a private tour, Chad was able to be flexible and hit some specific sights we wanted to see. He seemed to make an extra effort for us to see many of the views despite being a foggy morning. At the end of the tour, he offered to drop us off at a restaurant in China Town where we wanted to eat.
The van was clean and had plenty of room. I was very impressed with Chad’s ability to use a standard transmission in this extremely hilly area.
The tour was well worth the price and we would do it again. It was the highlight of our visit to San Francisco.

Everything was perfect! Thanks again to Chad, fantastic guide, professional, kind. We loved the tour and really discovered San Francisco. In addition with our last child of 7 years old, Chad knew how to occupy him, captivate him with games. Gourmet breaks, beer or wine snacking ! It was great.

Nous (2 adultes et 2 enfants - de 12 ans), avions planifié un tour avec Vantigo pour notre 1ere journée à San Francisco., quelle belle façon de visiter la ville. Notre guide Chad est simplement génial; sympathique, attentionné et drôle, il nous a fait voir les principaux points d'attraits de la ville à bord de Harvey de façon originale et informative. On s'est arrêté à des points de vues qu'on ne serait pas donné la peine d'aller autrement. Sans aucune hésitation je recommanderais ce tour, vraiment une expérience inoubliable et originale de faire un tour de ville. Merci Chad !

Had a fantastic morning with Chad and Harvey (the van) cruising around San Fran. We covered everything we wanted to see and stuff we didn't even know about. Chad was super knowledgeable and a really great guide. But also dead chill and made the morning really easy and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a tour of San Fran.

We had a great time viewing San Francisco. The tour provides a unique way of seeing the city on a VW. When we passed by people on the streets they pointed and took pictures. Chad made the tour fun for my 9 year old son and kept his interest the entire time. We even had the opportunity to play Vantigo's unique version of Bingo. You will not be sorry if you book the tour.

A great way to see all the areas of San Francisco and learn about the history of the area. I suggest doing this at the beginning of your trip so you can maybe go back and explore the areas of interest to you. Many other tours available but I don’t think they can top this one. Great tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the area. Thank you Harvey and Chad for showing us the sights! Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Hi Chad: There are six adults on a Crystal cruise. We are interested in your 9am 4 hr private four. Our ship leaves port at 2pm on Wed, Sept 26th.
