We spent a beautiful and unique day in the great wall and summer palace, Our guide Sally excellent explanations, disposition to answer our multiple questions.
The places are amazing..meals so good... definitely recommend take this tour.

This tour is a fantastic choice if you have a day spare in Beijing. This section of the wall was different to see the other parts of the Great Wall that we saw. The guide knew a lot about the history of the Summer Palace and this was nice to look at.

Just husband and I took the private tour or the Great Wall and summer palace. Our guide was Susan who was absolutely wonderful! It was golden week, so we left at 7 am for our tour which was perfect. We had our section of the walk almost to ourselves. Many tourists were arriving as we left. She took many photos of us at the wall in great locations. We really enjoyed hearing all of the history, culture and even everyday life. We were early for lunch, so we stopped at a tea House and had a tea ceremony. This was a free extra opportunity for us and was wonderful! A great surprise for our tour. Lunch was fabulous and was at an authentic small Chinese restaurant. We told our guide what we liked and she picked out a perfect lunch. We enjoyed the summer palace as well. Overall, I kept telling my husband this was my favorite day of our trip. Susan was just wonderful! Our driver was also great. He had a very nice car and was dropped us off and picked us up at great spots.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on our visit! Firstly, I have to say that we were very impressed with our guide, Susan. She was a wealth of information, professional, and sensitive to our needs. I had a lot of questions about history and customs and she was able to answer all of them. She was also able to give us insights into modern China.

This was a very good tour. Susan did a good job as our tour guide. She let us go at our own pace. She was good with time and directions. She took us to a very, very good place for lunch. It had a lazy susan on the table but there was nothing lazy about our Susan, the tour guide. We had a great time on our trip to the Great Wall and to the Summer Palace.

Wow! The Great Wall is definitely something you must do. Susan is an amazing guide and the tour exceeded all my expectations. I only wish we had more time at the Wall. The lunch place Susan tool us to was also amazing. There is not enough good things I can say about this tour company and the guide. Highly recommended!!

We began the day with a stop to the Zoo to see the Panda bears, which was so great, and then went on to the Great Wall, which was an amazing sight to see, and truly a wonder. I was a bit afraid of the height, but thanks to our terrific guide, she helped me be calmed as we were on the chair lift. Susan was a wonderful tour guide. She was very friendly, professional and patient. She took us shopping to the wonderful gift shops along the way, and we ended the day at an amazing tea shop. Susan and the gentleman who drove us around were so kind and friendly, and we especially enjoyed their company during lunch. Susan selected a wonderful variety of dishes, and gave us interesting details about the cuisine. It was all such a wonderful experience and thank you so much to Susan for making the day memorable!!!!!

We had a phenomenal time traveling to the Great Wall in China. We had 14 people with a mix of adults, teens, and young ones. Anson was attentive, gave us a private bus so we didn’t have to walk. After struggling to get around Beijing this was a welcome change of pace. He spoke great English and was very informative.

Anson was our guide for the day. He was excellent! He knew which section of the wall to show us to avoid the crowds, made sure we had plenty of time for photos and provided plenty of history on both its construction and China in general. His enthusiasm and energy maintained throughout the day, with a stop at lunch (where he had organised our table and delicious food for our arrival), the Summer Palace (with lots of interesting facts) and then a brief stop near the ‘Bird’s Nest’ on our way back to the hotel for a few more photos. Both he and the driver kept us safe, on time and ensured our tour was very much enjoyed and one to remember!

Book this guided tour last minute and ended up being the best part of our trip to Beijing! My girlfriend and I have always wanted to see the Great Wall and found this tour after some thorough research and could not be happier with the experience. After booking we got a friendly call from our amazing tour guide Linda to confirm our hotel and pick up time the day before our Great Wall adventure. We met her and our fantastic driver Kai promptly in the morning of the tour and headed out in a beautiful air conditioned car with plenty of water. Linda was incredible knowledgable and had great English. She gave us super interesting facts about the Wall, Chinese culture and answered all our questions the whole way up! The hour and a half drive to the Matianyu section of the Wall flew by. We arrived and immediately entered shuttle line up to the Wall avoiding all the lines/crowds. We decided to do the chair lift with toboggan down, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I mean where else can you see a wonder of the world then toboggan down it, once in a life time experience. We got to the top and Linda showed us all the best and most scenic/picture/selfie worthy spots. She even took a bunch of photos for us (lots of framers!) she even gave us some free time to roam the Wall before we headed back down. This section as gorgeous! You are able to see a huge section of it in mostly its original state, and the forest around is very green and full. Plus it was not the crowded (the other sections tend to be much more touristy) Then we took the Toboggan...did I mention how cool and fun this was?!?! It’s a must do. Once we got down (safely) we made our way back to the pick up spot where our driver Kai picked us up right away. We then headed to lunch at a local restaurant. The food was waiting for us as we got there and it was DELICIOUS!!! There was this eggplant pork dumpling dish that was out of this world! After lunch we drove to the Summer Palace. Linda again was amazing and gave us the whole story of the Dragon Lady who ruled in the Summer Palace. It was so fascinating! Once we got there, Linda was able to show us around and go more in depth about all the artictecturhe, the meanings of all the buildings and artifacts with the cultural significance behind it all. The Palace is massive and it was really great to have Linda’s help to take us to all the popular/famous/most scenic spots. Otherwise we would have been wondering around for hours. Absolutely amazing tour, fantastic guide and driver, and a day we will remember forever! Highly recommend!!!! Linda even went above and beyond. Thanks for an wonderful time and tour!!!!!
