Perfect experience! I was picked up at my hotel exactly on time. Ride to Bruges from Amsterdam was comfortable, and enjoyable conversation. My tour included all of the Bruges highlights, including a nice canal cruise. Beautiful city to visit. I'm very happy I used Rudy's Taxi Company for my tour. Outstanding service and I was very pleased with my whole day.

Outstanding performance. Wybe or Mariann explained the culture, history and economy as we travelled to Bruges. It was extremely informative and I was amazed of the agricultural areas we traveled through and the use of the various techniques use to control the water so the lands can be put to use for farming. Mariann was extremely knowledgeable and very professional in educating us. Outstanding!!!

We used Rudy's for return transfers to Schipol Airport and two private tours. We only had a week and wanted to see as much as we could. Rudy's certainly helped us to achieve that.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the delightful Katja. She assisted us with buying public transport tickets before leaving the airport as we had planned on using the tram system in Amsterdam. Katja gave us several useful tips and answered our questions about the sights we passed en route to our hotel in the canal ring.
The first tour we took was to Delft and the Hague. This was with another couple. To our delight, we had Rudy as our driver and guide. That day, we had to check out of our hotel and move to another location in the city. Our friends who stayed at a different hotel faced the same situation. Rudy picked us all from two separate hotels and delivered us to our respective new lodgings with no fuss and even managed to fit all our luggage in one van. At the Hague, Rudy dropped us off at the Mauritshuis museum and picked us up nearby after we had visited the museum and walked through the courtyard of the Dutch Parliament. Next stop was to the Peace Palace where he walked with us into the visitors centre and explained the significance of that building. As we drove through the Hague to Delft, Rudy pointed out interesting sights like where prison which housed war criminals and the War Crimes Tribunal. In Delft, Rudy dropped us off to explore the pretty town on our own for a few hours. When he picked us up, we expressed an interest in visiting Delftware factory. Rudy took us to a smaller family run place where we enjoyed a free tour.
We should also mention that he took us to a small dairy farm in the morning where we tasted cheese and watched the ladies making the cheese. We also visted the barn where the cows were kept. They looked happy and well kept. The route was through a pretty area with polders, lakes and beautiful little houses with boats parked on canals beside them.
Our second tour, a few days later, was to Bruges and Ghent in Belgium. At first, we had chosen to visit Antwerp instead of Bruges. Rudy suggested that we should visit Bruges instead and not to be deterred by the tourist crowds as he knew of some quieter places there. That was an excellent suggestion as we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Bruges. Rudy took us on a walking tour lasting about 4 hours including the time spent having lunch at a restaurant he recommended and a boat tour, again with a company he recommended. He was very accommodating when we stopped to browse in shops and also to take photos of us. The visit to Ghent was shorter as we had spent more time in Bruges. Rudy also took us on a walking tour to see the major sights.
We enjoyed Rudy's company immensely. He does indeed have a wicked sense of humour and has a warm personality. Both Katja and Rudy are fine ambassadors for their country. We found them to be so easy to deal with. They answered all the questions I had when I was deciding on whether to book with them. Payment via Paypal was easy and straightforward. We were impressed that they trusted us with paying a deposit for the tours when other operators would have required full payment. We found their rates to be less than some of the others but it should be borne in mind that we did our homework beforehand about the places we visited so we did not require someone to give us detailed and extensive explanations about history, background etc. Rudy's commentary and explanations were sufficient for us.
Rudy's is trustworthy and reliable and we would definitely recommend them. There was no way we could have fitted so much into our itinerary without them.
